Founded in 2018 by Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Jessica Bruno, House Call Counseling is a social enterprise on a mission to revolutionize access to mental healthcare. We believe everyone deserves high-quality mental health services, regardless of where they live or how much they can afford. By leveraging technology and fostering community partnerships, we bridge the gap between traditional mental health services and the communities they often struggle to reach.

B.E.A.R. Behavioral Evaluation and Response Team

The BEAR Team is a pilot program in Winston Salem that offers an alternative response to non-violent mental health 911 calls made to law enforcement and other first responders. BEAR is led by Director Kristin Ryan and is made up of six crisis counselors and social workers who are stationed at fire departments around the city in order to ensure a rapid response.
