How much do sessions cost?
Sessions range from $50-$200. Each counselor's rates are displayed on their scheduling page.
What is the scheduling process?
First you will choose a counselor on the scheduling page. After selecting a date and time for your session, you will receive a confirmation text and email. New clients will receive a welcome email with instructions to complete forms safely and securely online.
How do I cancel or reschedule?
You can cancel and reschedule by using the links in your confirmation text/email. You can also contact your counselor or call 336 701 2136.
Is there a fee for late cancels or no shows?
Yes. If you cancel or reschedule within 24 hours of your session, you may be charged the full session rate. There is no charge if you cancel or reschedule more than 24 hours before your session.
Can my first session be at home?
No. All first sessions must be either over the phone, through video, or at our office.
Do you offer a sliding scale or reduced cost services?
Yes. If you are in need of services and cannot afford your chosen counselor's rates, please call 336 701 2136 to discuss options. We will work with you to ensure you are able to access services.
Will my counselor bill my insurance?
No. House Call Counseling will not file insurance claims on your behalf, but we will provide documentation which you can submit to your insurance company for direct reimbursement. Please contact your provider with questions related to coverage.
Can I pay for sessions using my HSA card? Yes. Please contact your provider with questions related to coverage.
Can I schedule a session for someone else? Yes. Anyone can schedule a session. When scheduling, provide the client's phone number and email address.
Do you offer next day appointments? Yes. Visit the scheduling page to see which counselors have next-day availability.
